The Story Behind Testimony Wine Bar & Our Membership
We opened February 13th of 2023, and honestly, it took longer to get there than we expected.
At first I thought we were going to be open in July before that. Then it was September. And through the normal throws of construction, it just kept getting delayed and delayed and delayed.
At one point we were really down to the wire with the concrete because it was winter time. We were trying to pour and make sure everything worked before the weather got worse. But we got there.
Finally, in February we were able to get our certificate of occupancy and open the doors.
From the beginning we were welcomed hugely by the city of Redmond, and by a lot of our patrons here who are still coming today. Many of them have been regulars since the day we launched our membership. We’ve felt a tremendous amount of support from this community from day one.
Our Two Memberships
I want to tell you about the two memberships that we currently have.
They’re essentially the same, with the main difference being that one covers two people and one covers one.
The Gold membership covers two people, and the Emerald membership covers one.
The Gold membership has actually been surprisingly utilized by a lot of different types of couples, if you will. Sometimes it's a husband and wife. Sometimes it's two best friends. Sometimes it's siblings. Sometimes it's just your favorite person to go drink wine with.
And it gives you an excuse to get together once a month and enjoy your free flights.
The Monthly Member Flights
The big attraction is that you get a free flight every single month.
Our member flights include five pours, versus the traditional four-pour flight that we offer normally.
Every month we always have three flights to choose from:
A red flight
A white flight
A mixed flight
So there’s something there for everybody.
Member Discounts and Benefits
As a member, you’re also going to receive 10% off your food and beverage, as well as 10% off event tickets.
That’s a nice perk because it allows you to continue receiving discounts every time you come in.
Members also have access to our members-only cellar, which is actually where I’m sitting today.
It’s a great space to come in, enjoy your friends, and host your friends and family.
You’ll also receive a free glass of wine during the month of your birthday, up to your choice. Whatever sounds good on the menu, you get to select that.
Friday Nights at Testimony
As an add-on to the membership benefits, we host these fun Friday nights at Testimony.
For these nights, we always invite a musician and one of our favorite winemakers to come in and pour for our guests.
This event on Friday is complimentary for our members, but guests can also come and enjoy it for a small fee.
What it really does is keep things interesting and allows people to try the wines that we’re serving in a more meaningful and in-depth way.
You also get the chance to talk to the people who are making the wine, which is a big part of the inspired wine experience that we’re dedicated to offering everyone who walks through the door.
Our Winery Partnerships
We’ve partnered with 21 winemakers throughout Oregon and Washington that we’ve been working with since we started.
Those winemakers have agreed to offer member benefits to members of Testimony Wine Bar, and equally we’re offering membership benefits to their members as well.
So there’s this partnership that’s brewing through many of the relationships we have.
We’re launching the membership with 21 winery benefits, and that list will continue to grow.

What this looks like for our members is that they’ll be able to show up to these wineries and receive:
Complimentary tastings
10% off food, wine, and merchandise
Often a tour of the production facility
So if you decide to go wine tasting in Willamette Valley, Rogue Valley, or Walla Walla, you’ll have a handful of wineries that greet you with red carpet access.
You’ll feel like a VIP.
And that’s exactly how we want our members to feel.
